Meet Dan – Project Manager & AutoCAD Technician
Dan’s career in construction began early, working alongside his father in the family business from a young age. With over 25+ years of hands-on experience in the field, he’s built a deep understanding of how homes are brought to life — from the ground up. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for the industry and laid the foundation for his future.
As he progressed in his career, Dan expanded into excavating, where he took on even greater responsibilities. He became a licensed General Contractor and rose to serving as Operations Manager, and right hand man to the owner at his previous company. He oversaw a team of more than 30 crew members and managed a wide range of residential and commercial projects. His leadership and project oversight played a key role in scaling the company into a multi-million-dollar operation, reaching over $5 million in annual business.
This leadership experience, combined with his deep field knowledge, made him a natural fit for his current position at ShawCADesign. As Project Manager and AutoCAD Technician, Dan plays a vital role in bridging the gap between design and build. His expertise helps ensure every project runs smoothly — from initial plans to final execution — and his understanding of construction codes, site logistics, and structural requirements brings valuable insight to the team. Dan’s ability to connect design with real-world building practices ensures each plan is not only beautifully drawn but also ready for construction.
